History

March 1923 The founder Isao Furutani starts operation in Kanon-honmachi, Hiroshima City.
September 1950 Sets up a company structure Furutani Tekko-sho as a limited company.
April 1971 Rebuilds the office and plant.
January 1973 Celebrates 50th anniversary of its foundation.
January 1978 Introduces numerical-controlled (NC) machine tools based on the facility modernization project.
May 1981 Hiroshima city awards Furutani as one of the blue-chip companies.
March 1982 A New Plant is built in Yahata, Saeki-ku, Hiroshima City.
January 1985 The office and all the plants move to Yahata.
December 1991 The company name and organization are changed to Furutani Co., Ltd.
March 1993 Celebrates the 70th anniversary of its foundation.
May 1996 Moves to Miyauchi Kogyodanchi (Industrial Park), Hatsukaichi City.
February 2002 Mold Furutani Co., Ltd. is established in Thailand.
March 2005 MFT Co., Ltd. Obtains ISO 9001: 2000 certification.
September 2005 Obtains ISO 9001: 2000 certification.
December 2006 Furtani Molding Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Furatani Co.,Ltd. is established in Hatsukaichi city,Hiroshima Prefecture.
October 2008 Establishes a molding plant in Shutou-cho, Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
May 2010 Opens Nagoya Office in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture.
September 2010 Obtains ISO 9001: 2008 certification.
March 2013 Celebrates the 90th anniversary of its foundation.
February 2017 Celebrates the 15th anniversary of MFT Co., Ltd. foundation.
May 2018 Expansion a molding plant in Shutou-cho, Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
December 2018 Celebrates the 10th anniversary of a molding plant foundation.
July 2018 Obtains ISO 9001: 2015 certification.
May 2020 Celebrates the 10th anniversary of Nagoya Office foundation.
January 2022 Registers our logo as a trademark.
February 2022 Celebrates the 20th anniversary of MFT Co., Ltd. foundation.
March 2023 Celebrates the 100th anniversary of its foundation.
December 2023 Celebrates the 15th anniversary of a molding plant foundation.
